Description

This flashcard set has 18 cards for teaching shapes to young learners. Page one of the small set has 9 easier, more basic shapes:

  • circle
  • oval
  • heart
  • triangle
  • square
  • diamond
  • rectangle
  • kite
  • semicircle

Grouped together on page two are 9 more shapes that require more lines to draw, or that are generally more difficult vocabulary (or both!)

  • pentagon

The cards are available as black and white outline shapes which are simple and bold. These would make a nice “colouring dictation” listening activity.

You can also download one or both of the coloured shape sets. In these sets, each shape is one of 18 different colours– to get each shape in two different colours, download Colour Group 1 and Colour Group 2. The coloured shapes flashcards want you to play Go Fish! or the Memory Game with them 🙂
